This credit is applied exclusively to the participant’s internal file and may be used only for products or services designated by Ski Saint-Bruno, including:

  • advanced training offered by the Snow Sports School;
  • internal development or upgrading programs;
  • regular season passes;
  • daily tickets or ticket booklets.

This credit is non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and non-transferable.

🔹 Internal note (to be retained in the master document – not published)

This credit constitutes a post-employment discretionary benefit, offered as recognition.
It does not create any obligation for monetary reimbursement by Ski Saint-Bruno, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA, CQLR c. P-40.1).

Management reserves the right to determine or modify the list of eligible products at any time.

The CPA provides that, in certain cases, a credit granted in lieu of a refund may be assimilated to a monetary refund unless expressly provided otherwise by law (sections 187.1 et seq.).

In the present case, the post-employment credit is a discretionary HR benefit, not a consumer refund or a prepaid card within the meaning of the CPA.
It therefore does not give rise to any obligation of monetary reimbursement.

Legal references:

  • Section 187.1 CPA – contracts providing for refunds must comply with refund rules (e.g. 10-day timeline).
  • Sections 189 to 190 CPA – distinction between refund obligations and prepaid cards (non-expiring, cash-redeemable).

Result:
Ski Saint-Bruno may legitimately restrict the use of this credit to designated internal products, without risk of the credit being claimed in cash.

  • Use and wear appropriate equipment retention devices at all times.
  • Do not use lifts or trails while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Obey all signage and warnings, and never venture off-trail or onto closed trails.

Participation in snow sports involves inherent risks of which you must be aware.
For a safe and enjoyable experience, you must comply at all times with the Mountain Code of Conduct and demonstrate courtesy toward others.

You must also comply with any additional rules and signage issued in connection with specific, physically delineated activities organized by Domaine du Ski Mont-Bruno Inc.

Stay alert and respect the code. This is your responsibility.
